R.J. Tolson is both an award-winning bestselling author of 4 books and two Manga and an internationally known entrepreneur, having appeared on NBC, CBS, ABC, Telemundo and more by age 19.
As the founder of BurstOut and the co-founder of CapriTaurus, he oversees the company’s media business and divisions (CapriTaurus Studios and BurstOut) as well as its intersection with new projects that parent company CapriTaurus launches. Prior to joining CapriTaurus Media in 2018, he was a co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Pearit Co. (InternMagic), a tech company based in Los Angeles, which connected students and employers with internships based on personality, as well as the CEO of RJTIO until 2016 before moving on to become the current chairman of the RJTIO, LLC, Board where he oversees the business’s transition into a holding company.
A social media macro-influencer, RJ’s work with a variety of organizations and brands, ranging from the White House, WeWork, and LA Fashion Week to smaller startups and newly-created brands. He’s toured around the US and Europe to audiences ranging from 900 to a few thousand, speaking to Middle-High schools, Colleges, and Companies about business, reading/writing, innovation, travel, fashion, and more.
RJ’s helped develop numerous brands and startups and often attends the latest trending events. An Alumnus of Whittier College, he currently sits on the board and continues to do so for several organizations and companies including The InD’Scribe Book Festival, The Rectory School, Pearit, and more.

Bobbi-Marie graduated from Whittier College, having obtained a Sociology degree with a minor in organizational leadership. While a student, she created the Project Glove Box Program to improve public health for students on campus. Her efforts have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, CBS Local, and Telemundo. The Network for Social Work Management and Advocates for Youth also recognized her for the program success.
After graduation, she joined the Board of Directors at the Whittier Rio Hondo Aids Project (WRHAP), and she currently sits on the Board of the Directors of Whittier College Alumni Association, where she helps implement strategic initiatives. Bobbi-Marie wholeheartedly believes that she has a social responsibility and a moral obligation; not only to herself, but to her country, to advocate for the public interest. For this reason, she pursued a Master’s degree in Public Administration at California State University, San Bernardino.
She currently creates policy for a local government agency, as well as manages Project Glove Box to help improve the health of students on other college campuses. She also created Situationship®, a blog “for exceptional individuals trying to navigate their way through complicated relationships.” As the current Executive Editor at Burst Out Magazine, where she oversees day-to-day-operations with fellow associate editors and creates, curates, and manages content for e-communications, magazines, and social media.
